Julie+Nate’s Union Pine wedding was nothing short of magical. As you probably saw in their portland engagement session, they radiate with an intimate connection. A true honest love that comes through in every photo taken of them. They wanted their family and friends who attended their wedding to feel it as well. Prior to the ceremony, Julie led her bridesmaids in centering. Taking a quiet moment to celebrate what each of her girls meant to her. It was beautiful as everyone prior to the ceremony was led in a 10 minute guided meditation. This allowed them to focus their attention on the reason they were there and be fully present. The styling mirrored their personalities beautifully; a custom floral installation made by The Green Dandelion for the ceremony, Wild Unknown tarot card table decor, and Julie’s hand made dream catchers. And check out those hatchet/peace pipes Nate gave his groomsmen as gifts, so rad!
It was such an honor to be a witness, let alone to document Julie and Nate’s wedding. And I mean who doesn’t love photographing a couple of people running through the streets of Portland with smoke bombs?
This wedding was also featured on the wonderful Green Wedding Shoes. Head over there to read more about their day.
