Do You Travel?
Totally my dudes. We're based in LA but are down to pop on a plane for you. And no its not strange to fly in your photographer 🙂 Travel costs are super simple, just the basics. Round trip flight, rental car if applicable and accommodations. We book our own flight and rental car as I have some sweet loyalty perks with a few companies but you’re more than welcome to book our accommodations if that makes things easier. we'll send you the costs for everything before we lock arrangements down so you’re fully in the loop.
How Long Have
You Been At This?
I shot my first wedding in 2010, so what 10 years?! Whoa, that’s wild.
One. You get one photo. Sometimes its a selfie of myself, sometimes its a close up of the buffet table. KIDDING! You get a crap ton. Probably an overwhelming amount. While there’s no set number I deliver because every wedding is so completely different, I’ve never had any client say they didn’t get enough. Let me know if you’d like to see some complete Client Galleries to get a feel for the deliverable product.
How Many Photos
Do We Get?
I’ll sketch a few of my favorite moments from your day on some napkins and mail it on over to you. Kidding! You’ll receive the high-res edited images via a beautiful online gallery where you can download them to your computer, as well as share with friends and fam. You and the fam can also order ridiculously good lookin’ products off the site such as prints, wedding albums, etc. Cool stuff to make sure your photos don’t die on a hard drive.
How Do We
Get Our Photos?
All images will receive Shrek like skin tone mods and a snapchat filter set to random. Ok, ok I’M KIDDDDDING, as you can see I’m not that serious of a dude. I take retouching very seriously, my goal for the image retouching is to tone the colors to make them timeless and not dated to a certain timeframe/trend. I try and emulate the beauty of film in my digital images. I won’t do any body transforming as I don’t believe in that but if you’ve got some sort of blemish or small mark that you’d like me to remove in images, I got you!
Do You Retouch
The Photos?
48 hours after your session/wedding I’ll send you some high-res teaser images to get you hyped, also I know you need stuff for the gram. For engagement/portrait sessions, you can expect to have your final gallery 2 weeks from our shoot date. For weddings you can expect your final gallery 7-8 weeks post wedding date.
What's Your Photo
Turn Around Time?
It’s super simp. First, ideally, I’d love to meet you two to make sure we’re a good fit! So let’s set up a Zoom/Facetime/or old fashioned phone call and chat it up! The booking process is real chill. I’ll send you a link to your Client Portal where you’ll digitally sign the contract and make the deposit. For engagement/portrait sessions I require 50% down, and $1500 down for weddings.
How Do We
Book You?
Putting together a wedding can be overwhelming as its likely your first time. There can be pressure from the fam, or friends who all want to give you advice. I’m here for you if you need absolutely anything. Looking for the perfect elopement location on the coast? I got you. Want some rad options for non-traditional suits? I gotcha! Want to to know the perfect timing for ceremony for the best lighting? We got this. Pretty much if you have any questions about literally anything, you can ask me, I’ve been around the wedding block a time or two and know how valuable it can be to simply bounce ideas around or to get my photog insight. I’ve also made a sweet little PDF Guide I’ll send you upon booking that’ll answer the most asked questions.
Can You Help Us
Plan This Thing?
(we need halp!)
How far out
do you book?
Generally up to a year and half out.
Good question! Obviously we’ll chat about what you envision for your sesh but overall the session should really reflect your personalities. Some couples just want to roam around and explore some beautiful part of the world, or shoot inside their home to preserve the memories of this place and time and the space they’ve made their own. But I’m down for literally anything. Whatever it is that makes you two you two, let’s do that and shoot that.
What should we do
for our engagement
