What should I expect?
This is going to be hands on, the way a workshop should be. Day one will be spent in the studio working through editing/preset building, pricing, workflow, and critiques. Day two is an adventure and shooting day spent outside in nature. We will be leading shoots on location in the scenic Columbia River gorge, a spot we often shoot in. Also expect lots of hangs and group bonding time. Also coffee. Also sangria. Also hugs.
What should I bring?
Bring a laptop (if you have one), a camera of choice, and an open mind.
What food included in the workshop?
We will be providing light breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout the day. If you’ve never been to Portland before, get ready for some of the most delicious/organic/local food you’ve ever had. Attendees are responsible for their own dinner.
Where is it held?
Day one will be held at one of Portland’s favorite venues Union/Pine. Day two we will meet up and travel out to the Columbia River Gorge together.
Where should I stay?
Portland has a plethora of cool Airbnbs and boutique hotels. Attendees are responsible for their own accommodations and transportation. The workshop will be held at Union/Pine in SE Portland so if you don’t want to rent a car, plan for nearby airbnb-ing.
Day 1: Caffeine and breakfast starts at 9am on the 24th and expect to wrap around 6pm.
Day 2: Meeting up at 10am and wrapping around 4pm followed by nighttime hangs.
